 Town Board Meeting

 5-19-2020

The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Treu at 6:30 p.m. in the Angelo Town Hall.  All Board members were present.

The minutes were read  with no objections.

Supervisor Leverich moved to approve the holding tank for the shop on the Ken and Carol Ostrem  property at 13332 Inspiration with the addition on the deed that the owner would be responsible for pumping the holding tank.  The holding tank is the best option considering the cost and limited use.  Second by Supervisor Brown, motion carried.

Supervisor Brown now has the correct name and address for the Blooming Ministry.  He will send a certified letter with action expected by July 1, 2020.

The chairman will call the Sanitation Department regarding issues in the Town.

The Town will need to spend money to enforce our ordinances.  The use of small claims court was suggested.

Supervisor Brown moved to approve the HDS Lawn service contract. Second by Supervisor Leverich, motion carried

The 2019 Financial Statement was presented.  Supervisor Brown moved to approve the report. Second by Supervisor Leverich.

The Fire Board should be added to the list of committees   Bob LaRock should be removed from the Disposal Committee.  Steve Treu  is on the Fire Board currently.  Supervisor Brown moved to approve the committee appointments.  Second by Supervisor Levrich, motion carried,

The Board suspended the Board meeting at 7:00 to begin the Annual Meeting.

They reconvened at 8:45.

They met with the new owner of the old Silverdale property.    While supportive of his plans, they urged him to check with the city since it is part of the extraterritorial property.

Supervisor Brown moved to approve Jeff’s bonus.  Second by Supervisor Leverich, motion carried.

A date for the road tour is necessary,

Consideration of a water district should be placed on the June agenda.

The Town needs a lawyer, Kathy Schmitz was suggested.

A letter needs to be sent to the Vian’s.

Supervisor Leverich moved to pay the bills presented before the Board.  Second by Supervisor Brown, motion carried.

Supervisor Leverich moved to adjourn at 9:09.  Second by Supervisor Brown, motion carried.
