Town Board Meeting 1-10-2023

The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Treu at 7:00 pm. in the Angelo Town Hall
on January 10, 2023.

All board members were present with Supervisor Leverich participating by phone.

The Town of Angelo Caucus will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 9 a.m. in the Town Hall.
All residents are encouraged to attend to nominate people for the town offices.

The board meeting with the lawyer will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2 p.m. in his Tomah
office.

The Clerk will propose a 911 sign policy for the town at the February meeting.

Most of the agenda items need to have the advice of legal counsel and will be on the February agenda.

The Town has not received all the bills for the culvert work on Gardener.

Disposal Center:
The bush pile could be burned at anytime. The DNR and fire department need to be called.
The driveway is in good condition. The gravel was delivered.
A Christmas bonus for the landfill attendant should be on the February agenda.
The chairman will get a price for portable steps for the metal dumpster.
Residents seem to be cooperating with the recycling procedure.

Ordinance Issues:
Ian: Ian plans to have the Amish build a storage shed and remove the trailer. He needs to call
Supervisor Brown with an update.

Crocker: Supervisor Brown has received the writ from the court for the clean up of the
Crocker property. It should take about half a day with the presence of someone from the sheriff’s
department. The judge did allow one junk vehicle to remain. The others can be removed. The vin
number should allow the owners to be located and billed. The expenses accumulated since the court
order will be applied to the property when the work is completed.

Tucker and Stelter: problems continue.

Supervisor Leverich moved to approve the bills presented before the board. Second by Supervisor
Brown, motion carried.

The problem at Highway 71 and Janus continues and needs to be addressed.

Remember the caucus is January 16, at 9 .

Supervisor Leverich moved to adjourn at 7:20. Second by Supervisor Brown.
