Special Board Meeting Minutes Friday, April 24th, 2026

A special board meeting was called to order by Chairman Leverich at
Angelo Town Hall on April 24th, 2026 at 8 a.m.

Present were Jim Leverich, Dave Geier and Norb Brown, along with Angela Bunker and Heather
Pieper. Chairmen Jim Leverich called the meeting to order at 8 a.m.

Angela Bunker presented a resignation letter for the combined position of clerk/treasurer. Letter
dated for 4/24/2026 to take effect 5/1/2026 to coincide with payroll dates. Supervisor Brown
made a motion to accept the resignation letter. Superviser Geier seconded. 3-0 Motion Carried.

Supervisor Geier made a motion to appoint Heather Pieper as the town clerk. This position will
be in effect until 12/31/2028. It was decided that every two years the position will be reviewed
by the board. Supervisor Brown seconded. 3-0 Motion Carried.

Supervisor Geier made a motion to appoint Angela Bunker as the town treasurer. This position
will be in effect until 12/31/2028. It was decided that every two years the position will be
reviewed by the board. Supervisor Brown seconded. 3-0 Motion Carried.

*Discussion occurred and Angela Bunker will serve as Deputy Clerk as needed*

Salary discussion continued. Supervisor Brown made a motion to pay the town clerk $11,000 for
an annual salary and the pay for the town treasurer will also be $11,000. The salaries will be
reviewed by 12/31/2028. Supervisor Geier seconded the motion. 3-0 Motion carried.
Supervisor Brown moved to adjourn the meeting and Supervisor Geier seconded the motion.
3:0 Motion Carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:35 a.m.
