Town Board Meeting Minutes 4-26-2026
The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Leverich at 7:17 p.m. in the
Angelo Town Hall on April 26th, 2026.
1. Supervisor Geier moved to approve the March 10th, 2026 Minutes. Second
by Supervisor Brown. 3-0 Motion carried.
2. The 2025 Financial statement was passed around to review.
3. The 2025 Audit was discussed.
4. Supervisor Brown made a motion to approve Howard Sanborn Mowing bids.
Supervisor Geier seconded. 3-0 Motion carried.
5. Discussion regarding camping and mobile ordinance. May require an inspection
from Randy Sullivan. Chairman Leverich will investigate ordinances and permits
or costs related.
6. Melissa Flaig posed a question to the board about installing a fence on her
property to help stop the neighbors scrap and waste from infringing on her
property. It was determined the neighbor was in violation of several ordinances.
The board will send a notice. 10214 Hwy 16 and 10230 Hwy 16.
7. Mitchell Kirk; Colt Kirk – C&M Storage Units – (adding units on Goodwater
property) has been delayed to next month.
8. Discussion and Possible Action on Ordinance Issues.
a. Tucker – owner passed away. Lori Stietz is listed on the deed.
b. Collons/Cleary – can be removed, in compliance.
c. Richards – can be removed, in compliance.
d. Mobile Home Park – no address/lot signs and one unit still has garbage
build up. Supervisor Geier is working with owner.
e. Crocker – Lawyers are involved, talking to estate.
f. 10760 Harmony Ave – can be removed, in compliance.
g. 15845 Hwy 16 – can be removed, in compliance.
h. 15607 Hat – Skirted camper still on property, Supervisor Brown will review
with letter and attorney follow-up. Owner Louise Cruz Nicholes is currently
out of town. No one is currently staying in the camper, but he is interested
in being able to stay in it. Will need to follow up once the camper and
mobile ordinance is solved.
i. Vian County Trunk AA – County health and animal control has been
called.
j. 10214 Hwy 16 – cars and junk. Notice will be sent
k. 10230 Hwy 16 – scrap, junk, and someone living in camper
9. Discussion on Disposal Center. The disposal center will no longer accept large
furniture and lumber. Brush will still be accepted. Supervisor Brown made a
motion, Supervisor Geier seconded; 3-0 motion carried. This will go into effect
immediately.
10. Road Maintenance
a. Inspiration ($25,000) and Imperial ($11,000). Scott Construction
b. Gardner – Culvert and seal coating ($15,000). Move to next year’s budget
c. Hilltop and Janis ($10,000)– shoulder fix – Van Tassle
d. Infield has water damage. Chairman Leverage will discuss with the county
e. New property on Hardwood would like to install a driveway. Does not need
a culvert
11. Approval of Bills for Payment – Supervisor Brown moved to approve the bills
before the board. Second by Supervisor Geier. 3-0 Motion Carried.
12. Supervisor Geier moved to adjourn at 7:55 p.m. Second by Supervisor Brown. 3-0
Motion Carried.
