TOWN OF ANGELO
Town Board Meeting 9-10-2024
The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Leverich at 7:00 p.m. in the
Angelo Town Hall on September 10, 2024. All board members were present.
Supervisor Geier moved to accept the minutes of the August 13, 2024; meeting as found on
the website. Second by Supervisor Brown, motion carried.
Mr. Quartemont emailed his discussion with the Crocker lawyer. Mr. Crocker had not filed
taxes since 2015 so lawyer Schmidt expects it will take another six months or more before
she can close the estate. The Godfrey family is living there since they are beneficiaries. If
she has current pictures and the problems are identified to be removed, she will send a
demand and consider eviction for non-compliance. The board approved Mr. Quartemont handling the problem. Supervisor Brown will ask him if
we need to do anything else. Maybe we can go back to the judge and the original ruling.
Ordinance Issues:
Ian Cleary: No response.
Tucker: Supervisor Brown is trying to speak with Mr. Tucker and is concerned he may
be ill.
Devin Hahn: No response.
LaBarre: Supervisor Brown will call Don LaBarre as nothing has been done. The
lawyer will send a letter to the renter.
Mobile Home Park: Sheds are full of garbage. Supervisor Geier will call JAE.
Disposal Center: Things are going well. Charles Vian is not purchasing the Angelo bags for
his trash. Frank has spoken to him with no results. The Clerk will write a letter next.
Road Maintenance: Road work looks very good. Hilltop is done. The ditching is still a
problem. Havenwood looks good. The County did a nice job on the wedging. Inspiration will
have to wait.
Supervisor Brown moved to approve the bills before the board. Second by Supervisor Geier,
motion carried.
The referendum for school district projects was discussed.
Supervisor Brown moved to adjourn at 8:32. Second by Supervisor Brown.
