Town of Angelo Annual Town Meeting Minutes 4-21-2026
Town Hall – 14123 C0. Hwy I Sparta, WI 54656

The Annual Town Meeting was held Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town
Hall. Jim Leverich acted as Chairman and Angela Bunker acted as Treasure/Clerk.

Maurice Amundson moved to approve the minutes from April 15, 2025, meeting as
read. Second by Gary Peterson, motion carried.

The Financial Statement was presented. Maurice Amundson moved to approve the
financial report and Ernie Jahn seconded; motion carried.

The separation of Clerk/Treasurer position was discussed. Maurice Amundson moved
to approve the separation and Frank Lamb seconded; motion carried.

Manford Mielke made a motion to appoint a clerk and Jeanne Mielke seconded; motion
carried.

Gary Peterson made a motion to appoint a treasurer and Ernie Jahn seconded; motion
carried.

Meeting has been scheduled for Friday, April 24, at 8:00 am to appoint both clerk and
treasurer.

Maurice Amundson made a motion to purchase a new flag. The current flag is too small.
Manford Mielke seconded; motion carried.

Manford Mielke brought up a concern regarding the railroad crossing on Hwy A. Jim
Leverich will bring that up with the County Board.

Discussed making changes to large furniture (couch, etc.) and lumber not being
accepted at the Disposal Center. Norb Brown made a motion to not allow large furniture
and lumber to be left at the dump, brush only. Maurice Amundson seconded; motion
carried. This will go into effect immediately.

The 2-27 Annual Meeting will take place April 19 th , 2027, at 7 pm at the Town Hall.
Frank Lamb made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Gary Peterson seconded; motion
carried. The annual meeting concluded at 7:16 PM.
