Town of Angelo Annual Town Meeting 4-15-2025

The Annual Town Meeting was held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. Jim
Leverich acted as Chairman and Angela Bunker acted as Clerk.

Manfred Mielke moved to approve the minutes from April 16, 2024, meeting as read. Second by
Ernie Jahn, motion carried.

The Financial Statement was presented. Gary Peterson moved to approve the financial report and
Frank Lamb seconded; motion carried.

Building permits were discussed. Dave Geier made a motion that a building permit is not needed
until you more than double the value of the existing property. Gary Peterson seconded; motion
carried.

Wages for the township were discussed. The election worker salary will continue to be $12.50
an hour for regular poll workers and $15.00 per hour if Chief Inspector training has been
completed.

Wages for the elected official positions were discussed. Manfred Mielke made a motion to
increase elected official positions salary by a total of 10% annually. This change will go into
effect after the 2027 election. Pat Newman seconded; motion carried.

Discussion occurred about the daily fee for the rental of the Town Hall. Marla Leverich made a
motion to increase the rental fee from $75 to $100 for the daily rental. Jeanne Mielke seconded;
motion carried. This will go into effect immediately.

The date for the next annual meeting will be April 21st, 2026, at 7 pm.

Frank Lamb made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Ernie Jahn seconded; motion carried. The
annual meeting concluded at 7:30 PM.
