Town Board Meeting 1-11-2022
The Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Treu at 7:00 pm. in the Angelo
Town Hall on January 11, 2022. All Board members were present with Supervisor Leverich
participating by phone.
The minutes from the December 14, 2021 meeting were reviewed and accepted as posted on the
website.
Ordinance violations:
Blooming Ministers does not have a court date so far.
Ian Cleary has been making progress. He removed the camper Two cars and a blue
truck will be gone by this weekend. A dealer is coming to take the appliances. There are 4
vehicles remaining, pile of tires, garbage bags and the trailer. Supervisor Leverich moved to request him to come before the February board meeting with a plan to complete the cleanup. Second by Supervisor Brown, motion carried. The clerk will send
him a letter asking him to come to the next board meeting with a detailed plan to finish the
cleanup.
Don Stelter, on Highway 16, has a junk vehicle and an unlicensed vehicle and a huge
pile of tires. Supervisor Brown moved to send him a letter requesting that he come before the
board at the February meeting with a plan for finishing the clean up . If he fails to do so, legal
action will begin. Second by Supervisor Leverich, motion carried. The clerk will send him the
letter.
A 30 day notice was given to the Harmony property on December 22, 2021. Garbage
bags have broken and garbage is flying around.
The Tucker property will wait until the snow is gone.
Last Saturday was very busy for the disposal center. Dumpsters overflowed and recycle
materials were placed in the compactor to keep up. Still no available covered box for
cardboard.
Jeff McGinnis resigned. The clerk was asked to send a letter to Frank Lamb offering him
the Disposal Center position. There will be a need for another person.
Chairman Treu moved to give the bonus to Frank Lamb. Second by Supervisor Brown,
motion carried.
Supervisor Brown moved to approve the bills before the board. Second by Chairman Treu,
motion carried.
Supervisor Brown moved to adjourn at 7:56. Second by Supervisor Leverich, motion carried.
